81. Back to Reality - What Happened Next?

So I returned home at the end of July after almost a year of travelling, what happened next? Well, I recovered from my jet lag very slowly after a very long flight home, acclimatised back to the Scottish weather and re-accustomed my ears to Scottish accents. I surprised my man with my early return and caught up with some old friends and then real life caught up with me and needed dealing with...
As for location; I'm back with the parents which after living independently is a little soul crushing. Going from mother not having a clue what I was doing on the other side of the world to needing to know what I'm doing whenever I leave the house is a little lost on me. After a month of unemployment and applying to every job going I ended up returning to my old work place in order to have an income to repay my debts and accumulate some savings. Turns out travelling is an expensive venture.  So now I work 5 days a week and, in order to feel I'm achieving something, I returned to education to do a part time language course which takes up another evening and then there's my day off which is generally spent dozing.

So, in summary, I have returned to my same old spot only now I have only one job instead of two I study part time instead of full and I have no home of my own. Not the most exciting of times but my dull home life has started something...the plans of a new adventure, well several actually and as soon as my bank balance is in the green I think you find me on the road again...
